The Beefroll Penny Loafer is our iconic shoe. Natural pull-up leather is impregnated with a proprietary blend of natural oils and waxes, this special tannage gives the leather a number of distinctive properties. It has a beautiful bright finish, unique "pull-up" character, soft and flexible structure, and a "self polishing" property. Over time the leather will "bloom", which means the oils and waxes make their way to the surface, leaving a light white film on the leather. It's as simple as buffing with a horsehair brush or soft cloth and you'll restore the beautiful finish of the leather. This variation on our best-selling Beefroll Penny Loafers features Reltex Lactae hevea Crepe soles. The 100% natural latex Lactae Hevea soles are unrivaled in comfort and durability. This version of our Beefroll Penny Loafer is not only representative of the best of what we do but is also one of the most versatile shoes we make. The Lactae Hevea Crepe soles make these perfect for year round wear in wet weather. In addition to the unrivaled quality of Natural pull-up leather, we've crafted these shoes without a leather lining and using our genuine handsewn moccasin construction.
