Chandler Longwing - Caramel Shell Cordovan

The Longwing Blucher was born out of a desire for a sophisticated dress shoe that could still be dressed down when necessary. Here at Rancourt & Co. we believe that all of the footwear you own should be versatile, that's where the value comes in, when you can wear the same shoes for multiple occasions and with almost any piece of clothing in your wardrobe. This Longwing Blucher is incredibly special because it's crafted by hand using Genuine Horween Shell Cordovan. Each pair is fully lined with tan cowhide lining and completed with a genuine leather midsole, leather storm welt and our "watertight" leather outsoles. The combination of oil-treated leather outsoles and our leather logo heel with a keyed rubber tap adds durability and water resistance.

Shell Cordovan is the best leather in the world. Each shell is selected and cut from a small part of a horsehide and then tanned using traditional vegetable tanning techniques. The entire process takes about six months and the result is a very small but beautiful piece of leather with incredible depth of color and a richness not found anywhere else. Shell Cordovan is also renowned for it's durability and if maintained properly will easily last a lifetime.
